Konami has mentioned that it’s getting ready to bring back a number of delisted Metal Gear games. This is in celebration of the collection’ thirty-fifth anniversary.
The firm introduced, on Twitter, that it might be bringing back among the older games within the collection:
“The Metal Gear collection, launched on 13 July 1987, celebrates its thirty fifth anniversary in the present day. We are getting ready to resume the sale of titles that had been briefly suspended.”
The titles in query are Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. They have been each faraway from sale in November, 2021. This was due to archive footage that the games used, which had exceeded its licensed time period.
At the time, Konami mentioned, in an announcement:
“We sincerely ask on your endurance and understanding as we work in the direction of making these merchandise obtainable for buy as soon as once more.”
