The next Yu-Gi-Oh video game is the highly anticipated Yu-Gi-Oh Cross Duel. After months of waiting, we finally have a release date for this fun new collectible card game.
When will Yu-Gi-Oh cross duel be released?
In Konami’s press release, it was revealed that die-hard Yu-Gi-Oh fans won’t have to wait long to play the new video game. Since the recent Master Duel is still going strong, this new version aims to add something new to the field.
Cross Duel will release on Android and iOS on September 6th and will bring you a wild four-player duel. Never seen in a Yu-Gi-Oh game, this four-way game mode offers a unique perspective on the TCG genre.
Not only can you take part in four-player battles, but you can also take part in cooperative play. Plus, there’s also single-player content to play if the thought of being online makes you wet your deck.
Even better, anime fans will be able to fight alongside their favorite characters. Faces from all seven series of Yu-Gi-Oh will appear. Wish we could play with that hot girl Seto Seahorse. He’s rich, but he’s sensitive, oh.
If you want to join as soon as possible, please pre-register here. Those who do will receive free gems to draw cards!

Is it too different?
Some die-hard fans might end up disappointed with the Yu-Gi-Oh Cross Duel. Four-player multiplayer does have some liberties to classic TCG, to the point that it can be off-putting.
Still, it’s interesting that Konami is willing to try the series. After all, experimentation gave us the fantastic Duel Links speed duel format. We think this is one of the best Android card games!
Sure, the introduction of skills could dramatically change the game, but so did Links and Pendulums. If anything, these skills would be a drop in the bucket.
